Harry Fehr’s new production of The Flying Dutchman for Scottish Opera opens in Glasgow on April 4. Based on Wagner’s earliest version of the libretto, the setting is restored to the coast of Scotland. See here for The Times preview. Conducted by Francesco Corti and starring Peteris Eglitis and Rachel Nicholls, performances in Glasgow and Edinburgh run until April 19.
