We are delighted to welcome soprano Rhiannon Llewellyn to CPM. Just finishing her studies, Rhiannon garnered critical acclaim for her recent interpretation of Anne Trulove in The Rakes Progress at the Royal Academy of Music “Rhiannon Llewellyn had all you could want – clear, accurate high notes especially – as a tender but spirited Anne Trulove” The Observer.
This summer she joins Garsington Opera singing the role of The Lace Seller and English Lady in Death in Venice and covers Anna in Intermezzo.
Movement director Sarah Fahie’s work will be on display in Richard Jones’ new production of Der Rosenkavalier at Glyndebourne. Opening on May 17, there are further performances on May 21, 24, 29, June 1, 5, 8, 12, 15, 19, 22, 26 & July 3. Robin Ticciati conducts and the production will be broadcast live in cinemas on June 8 and will be streamed on the Telegraph website at the same time.
Nicholas Kraemer joins old friends at the Ulster Orchestra for several programmes in Belfast: Mozart, Poulenc & Haydn on February 5, Haydn, Strauss, Danzi & Beethoven on February 9 and Beethoven on February 10.
