Polly Graham stages Return of Ulysses at Longborough

Director Polly Graham, Artistic Director of Longborough Festival Opera, appears as a guest on BBC Radio 3 In Tune on July 9. Her staging of Monteverdi The Return of Ulysses will be performed in the Big Top at the festival on July 13, 15, 17 & 18. Conducted by CPM artist Robert Howarth the production also features tenor Andrew Irwin as Telemaco. View Graham’s short animated film here.

New signing – Samuel Boden

We are delighted to welcome British tenor Samuel Boden to CPM. Sam will shortly make his English National Opera début as Anfinomo in Benedict Andrews’ new production of The Return of Ulysses at the Young Vic. Jonathan Cohen conducts performances between March 24 and April 9, 2011. Coming up are Sam’s débuts with the Northern Sinfonia, Les Arts Florissants and the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra singing Mozart, Charpentier and Bach. More …
