Winner of the 2013 Handel Singing Competition, tenor Rupert Charlesworth appears three times at the 2014 London Handel Festival. He gives a lunchtime recital with Ars Elequentiae on March 13 at St George’s, Hanover Square and joins Laurence Cummings, harpsichord, for a recital at the Foundling Museum on March 19 as well as singing Look down harmonious saint with the London Handel Orchestra on April 4 at St George’s.
Recently-signed soprano Keri Fuge will feature twice at the 2012 London Handel Festival. Winner of the Michael Olive Prize at last year’s London Handel Competition, Keri gives a lunchtime recital of works by Handel and Purcell at St George’s Hanover Square at 1.00 pm on Wednesday March 28 and sings Handel’s cantata Armida Abandonata HWV105 on April 11.
