Harry Fehr directs Cosi fan Tutte

Stage Director Harry Fehr’s production of Cosi fan Tutte for Opera Holland Park, London opens on June 8 with further performances on June 13, 16, 18, 21, 24(m), July 4 & 7. British baritone Samuel Evans joins CPM for General Management

 

We are delighted to announce that British baritone Samuel Evans joins CPM for General Management. Having recently made his Paris opera début at the Opéra Comique singing Killian in the Berlioz realisation of Der Freischütz under the baton of Sir John Eliot Gardiner, he will reprise the role for his BBC Proms début on September 9.

On May 25 Sam was awarded the 2011 Association of English Singers and Speakers’ Patricia Routledge English Song Prize. He recently gave a recital of Fauré, Schubert, Ravel and Finzi at St John’s Smith Square and his forthcoming appearance at the Peak Festival includes Beethoven’s An die ferne Geliebte.

Sam is currently in his final year of the Opera Course at the Royal College of Music. He took the role of Garibaldo in Rodelinda as part of the 2011 London Handel Festival and will sing Don Alfonso in Cosi fan Tutte at the Britten Theatre on June 27, 29, July 1 & 4. Forthcoming concert engagements include performances of Bach, Handel, Mozart, Schumann, Brahms and Duruflé.
