Tenor Guy Cutting has been announced as one of the Orchestra of the Age of the Enlightenment’s Rising Stars. He will appear with the group as part of their “Bach, the Universe and Everything” Cantatas series on October 12 in Bristol and October 13 at Kings Place, London (a.m) and Oxford (pm). Guy’s recent and forthcoming performances in Europe, the US and Far East include appearances with Collegium Vocale Gent, Netherlands Bach Society, Gabrieli Consort & Players, American Bach Soloists, Le Concert Lorrain and Real Filharmonia de Galicia.
Guy Cutting joins Collegium Vocale Gent and Philippe Herreweghe for the first time touring a programme devised from Monteverdi’s Eighth book of madrigals, Un giro de begl’occhi, with performances on May 3 – Amsterdam; 4 – Aranjuez; 5 – Udeba; 7 – Luxemburg; 8 – Gent; 10 – Paris and 11 – Ludwigsburg.
