Director Polly Graham, Artistic Director of Longborough Festival Opera, appears as a guest on BBC Radio 3 In Tune on July 9. Her staging of Monteverdi The Return of Ulysses will be performed in the Big Top at the festival on July 13, 15, 17 & 18. Tenor Andrew Irwin has been selected to receive a BBC Northern Ireland & Arts Council of Northern Ireland Young Musicians Platform Award. We are delighted to welcome tenor Andrew Irwin to CPM. Originally from Northern Ireland, Andrew is completing his training at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Leipzig. He makes his Welsh National Opera début as Amelia’s Servant in David Pountney’s new production of Un Ballo in Maschera on February 9 with Carlo Rizzi conducting. He is also covering the role of Cecil Roberto Devereux for the company.
