Both making their festival debuts Bradley Smith sings the title role of Albert Herring and Nicholas Merryweather, Mr Gedge. Francis Matthews’ production is conducted by Justin Doyle with performances on July 8, 12, 15, 19 & 22 at the Buxton International Festival.
Tenor Bradley Smith works with The English Concert and Harry Bicket for the first time singing Odoardo Ariodante. He and the stellar cast will be appearing at Theater an der Wien, Vienna on May 12; Elbphilharmonie, Hamburg on May 14; The Barbican, London on May 16 and the Théâtre des Champs Elysées on May 18. Bradley then starts rehearsals for the title role of Albert Herring at the Buxton International Festival.
