The Vienna State Opera is offering a free stream of director Polly Graham’s 2019 production of Olga Neuwirth Orlando for 24 hours from at 19:00 (CET) on November 7. Drawn from the Virginia Woolf novel of the same name Orlando is conducted by Matthias Pintscher and the cast includes Kate Lindsey in the title role. https://play.wiener-staatsoper.at/
Polly Graham will direct Olga Neuwirth’s Orlando at the Vienna State Opera. The world première on 8 December 2019 will feature stage design by Roy Spahn, lighting by Ulrich Schneider with videos by Will Duke and costumes by Comme des Garçons.
The cast, conducted by Matthias Pintscher, includes Kate Lindsey, Eric Jurenas, Constance Hauman, Leigh Melrose, Vivian Bond and Agneta Eichenholz. There are further performances on December 11, 14, 18 (streamed live) and 20.
Director Polly Graham stages the world premiere of Robin Hood by emerging composer Dani Howard for The Opera Story with baritone Nicholas Merryweather creating the title role. Opening on February 27 at the Bussey Building, a former cricket bat factory, in Peckham, London, the production is conducted by Berrak Dyer with designs by April Dalton. Polly Graham directs Dido & Aeneas with Blackheath Halls Community Opera. The performances are at The Albany, Deptford, London on July 16 at 7:30, 17 – 7:30, 18 – 6:30 & 8:30 and July 20 at 6:30 & 8:30. Lee Reynolds conducts, April Dalton provides set and costume designs and the cast includes Idunnu Münch, Marcus Farnsworth, William Towers and Alison Rose.
Director Polly Graham has been announced as the Artistic Director of Longborough Festival Opera with immediate effect. The 33-year-old daughter of festival founders Martin and Lizzie Graham says: “As a family we are so proud of Longborough and have long talked about its future. But it is only recently that I have felt ready to

Her staging of Frank Martin Le Vin Herbé for Welsh National Opera received great critical acclaim and as Zaubertrank is about to open at Lokremise, St Gallen on February with performances on February 2, 6, 7, 11, 14 & 18.
