Director Polly Graham stages the world premiere of Robin Hood by emerging composer Dani Howard for The Opera Story with baritone Nicholas Merryweather creating the title role. Opening on February 27 at the Bussey Building, a former cricket bat factory, in Peckham, London, the production is conducted by Berrak Dyer with designs by April Dalton. Director Harry Fehr stages Handel Radamisto for the Dutch National Opera Academy from January 17 to 20, 2019 at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague with Judith Kubitz conducting. He will shortly make his German début with Roberto Devereux at the Badisches Staatstheater, Karlsruhe collaborating with set designer Yannis Thavoris and costume designer Mark Bouman. There are performances from March 23 to July 10, 2019 under the baton of Daniele Squeo.
Director Harry Fehr’s production of Tosca for Nederlandse Reisopera is described as an “edge-of-your-seat thriller” by Opera Today. “It all plays out like a nail-biting thriller. Harry Fehr makes his Dutch directing début with Tosca for the Nederlandse Reisopera. Designed by Yannis Thavoris, the production is conducted by David Parry and opens at the Wilmintheater, Enschede on October 13 with further performances on tour until November 12.
Polly Graham directs Dido & Aeneas with Blackheath Halls Community Opera. The performances are at The Albany, Deptford, London on July 16 at 7:30, 17 – 7:30, 18 – 6:30 & 8:30 and July 20 at 6:30 & 8:30. Lee Reynolds conducts, April Dalton provides set and costume designs and the cast includes Idunnu Münch, Marcus Farnsworth, William Towers and Alison Rose.

Director Polly Graham has been announced as the Artistic Director of Longborough Festival Opera with immediate effect. The 33-year-old daughter of festival founders Martin and Lizzie Graham says: “As a family we are so proud of Longborough and have long talked about its future. But it is only recently that I have felt ready to
