Sarah Fahie: cinema & streaming

Choreographer and movement director Sarah Fahie’s work can be seen in cinemas on October 3 in La Bohème live from The Royal Opera House. The staging by Richard Jones is conducted by Antonio Pappano and is a co-production with the Teatro Real, Madrid and Chicago Lyric Opera. From October 2 Garsington Opera’s production of Semele in Annalese Miskimmon’s staging with Sarah’s movement direction will be available to view on BBC Arts Online for six months.

Following recent success with Richard Jones’ production for English National Opera, Movement Director Sarah Fahie returns to Don Giovanni this time with Olivers Mears for Northern Ireland Opera. The performances take place on November 18 and 19 at the Belfast Grand Opera House and will be conducted by conducted by Nicholas Chalmers.

Sarah Fahie provides the movement for the world premiere of Philip Venables’ 4:48 Psyschosis based on Sarah Kane’s play. She works with director Ted Huffman for the first time whose production for the Royal Opera at the Lyric Hammersmith opens on May 24 with further performances on May 26, 27 & 28.

Choreographer and movement director Sarah Fahie makes her Norwegian début with Oliver Mears’ production of Don Giovanni for Bergen National Opera. The performances on March 14, 16, 18 & 20 are conducted by Rinaldo Alessandrini.

Movement director Sarah Fahie’s work will be on display in Richard Jones’ new production of Der Rosenkavalier at Glyndebourne. Opening on May 17, there are further performances on May 21, 24, 29, June 1, 5, 8, 12, 15, 19, 22, 26 & July 3. Robin Ticciati conducts and the production will be broadcast live in cinemas on June 8 and will be streamed on the Telegraph website at the same time.
