Aldeburgh Festival 2019Just announced is the Aldeburgh Festival programme for June 2019 which will feature tenor Samuel Boden and mezzo Kate Howden. Samuel sings the central role of the Narrator in Thomas Larcher The Hunting Gun as well as Britten Canticle III Still falls the rain. Kate joins The Ludwig Orchestra and Barbara Hannigan for Stravinsky Pulcinella .

 

 

 

 

Bradley Smith, tenorTenor Bradley Smith makes his début with the Odense Symphony Orchestra / Stephen Layton singing the Bach Christmas Oratorio between December 13 to 15 in Odense, Svendborg and Nyborg. Back in the UK he joins The Hanover Band and Andrew Arthur for a Messiah tour until December 22.

GUY CUTTING tenor © Ben McKeeTenor Guy Cutting joins the Netherlands Bach Society and Marcus Creed until December 23 touring a programme of seasonal Bach Cantatas – BWV 10, 63 & 147. They are visiting Naarden, Utrecht, Haarlem, Rotterdam, Kampen, Den Bosch, Maastricht and Tilburg.

Kate Howder - Mezzo soprano c.Robert WorkmanAs part of the Equilibrium Young Artists initiative mezzo Kate Howden appears with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra with Barbara Hannigan conducting. She sings Baba the Turk in Stravinsky The Rake’s Progress with performances on December 12, 14 & 15 (m).

Nicholas Kraemer - conductorConductor Nicholas Kraemer returns to work with the Minnesota Orchestra for Bach Christmas Oratorio cantatas 4, 5 & 6 plus Bach Orchestral Suite No. 3. The performances in Minneapolis take place on December 8 and 9 (matinee).
