Harry Fehr Scandi début

In his Scandinavian début Harry Fehr directs L’Elisir d’Amore (Elskovsdrikken) for Den Jyske Opera (Danish National Opera). The production opens in Odense on October 6 and tours Denmark until December 2. The production is designed by Yannis Thavoris and conducted by Per-Otto Johansson.
Sarah Fahie: cinema & streaming

Choreographer and movement director Sarah Fahie’s work can be seen in cinemas on October 3 in La Bohème live from The Royal Opera House. The staging by Richard Jones is conducted by Antonio Pappano and is a co-production with the Teatro Real, Madrid and Chicago Lyric Opera. From October 2 Garsington Opera’s production of Semele in Annalese Miskimmon’s staging with Sarah’s movement direction will be available to view on BBC Arts Online for six months.
Kate Howden tours with Scottish Opera

Mezzo-soprano Kate Howden tours the highlands and islands with Scottish Opera this autumn giving a programme of opera highlights from Monteverdi to Offenbach. Mezzo Laura Zigmantaitė joins CPM

We are delighted to welcome Lithuanian mezzo-soprano Laura Zigmantaitė to CPM. A recent graduate of the National Opera Studio in London Laura is a Scottish Opera Emerging Artist where this season she will sing Flora La Traviata, Laura Iolanta (in concert) plus roles in Mark-Anthony Turnage Greek and Dryad Ariadne auf Naxos.
