Harry Fehr directs Count Ory

Harry FehrDirector Harry Fehr returns to Blackheath Halls Community Opera with a new staging of Rossini’s Count Ory designed by Max Dorey. The cast includes Nicholas Sharratt in the title role, Anna Devin as Countess Adele and Benedict Nelson singing Raimbaud. Nicholas Jenkins conducts. Rupert Charlesworth in original Bach staging

RupertRupert Charlesworth - Tenor c. Benjamin Harte Charlesworth creates the role of the Younger Son in Trauernacht a unique staging of Bach Cantatas by Katie Mitchell with Raphaël Pichon conducting. Performances take place at the Aix-en-Provence Festival on July 11, 13, 14, 16, 18, 19, & 20. The project is a  co-production with the Wiener Festwochen, the Opéra national de Bordeaux and the Dutch National Opera

Nicholas Kraemer conducts two Handel productions with young artists

Nicholas Kraemer - conductorNicholas Kraemer conducts a production of Handel’s Belshazzar for Trinity Laban Conservatoire. Performances of the staging by Emma Rivlin are on July 2, 3, 4 & 5 at Blackheath Concert Halls. Later in the summer Kraemer travels to San Diego to conduct Opera Neo’s Agrippina on August 14 & 16 at Crill Concert Hall.
